Who knew being so disrespectful could be so much fun?

Well, Republicans and Conservative religious figures certainly know how much fun it is! They're having an absolute blast. And it's so incredibly shameful. Somebody needs to be grounded for life.

Rush Limbaugh gleefully calls Ms. Sandra Fluke, the young Georgetown Law Student who was denied the opportunity to testify during the House Oversight and Government Reform hearing on religious liberty and the birth control rule, a slut, a prostitute, and promiscuous. Why is Mr. Limbaugh interested in her sex life, anyway? Seems pretty pervy to me.

Franklin Graham, Rick Santorum, and so many others question President Barack Obama's faith because President Barack Obama is, well, the President of the United States. Former President Bill Clinton had an affair, but I don't remember any of these individuals squealing doubts about Mr. Clinton's religious affiliations.

Marketing firms, public transit systems, and the film industry have taken their cues from the debauched world of Republican politics. They have learned quickly and well that blatantly offending and disrespecting the President Barack Obama, the President of the United States is not only allowable but is quite lucrative. Thank goodness for civil disobedience!

The "Birther Movement" eagerly asserts that President Barack Obama is not a United States citizen, and should thus not be President of the United States. I guess facts just aren't the powerful currency that they once (or never?) were. Interestingly, the Birthers don't question the lineage of any of the other American Presidents, such as George Washington. Racism, you are so predictable.
