The Human Factor

I understand that pro sports is a business, and business decisions are supposedly just that - "business, nothing personal."
But in sports, emotions and chemistry are enormous factors. No matter how many talented players you have, how many bargains you get, how much you believe that they can make it work, if the players don't have chemistry, don't trust each other or their coaching staff, don't buy-into their team and their roles in the team, then you're not going to succeed. I think there are certain clubs in the NBA and in other pro sports who are losing sight of what make them successful: the actual players' trust, chemistry, buy-in, and effort. The human factor will always effect the business.
Watch out, execs and coachin staff - don't alienate those (players and fans) who make it possible for you to have a career and cash a paycheck.
