The Jets just ain't right no way no how.

Something rank and certainly fishy is all up in the NY Jets:

Stanton was promised primary backup (otherwise he certainly wouldn't have signed on), but he was unceremoniously dumped and forgotten as soon as Tebow was seduced.

The deal with the Jaguars was more lucrative than the deal with the Jets, but Tebow still goes to the Jets.

At least Tannenbaum took the time to speak directly with Stanton, even if he was tone-deaf to what Drew said. (Ahem - Kupchak take notes.)

And tho Stephen A. Smith says that having Tebow is "the worst thing that could possibly happen to the NY Jets," I think it's actually the even worse for Tim.

If Tebow wanted to play second-fiddle and be mentored he should have stayed with Broncos and stuck like glue to Peyton - talk about some serious mentorship. The Jets are stacking their deck with QBs. I don't understand the strategy - and I'm not completely convinced that the Jets even have a strategy.
